CERTIFICATION AND DESIGNATION COURSES

Accredited Buyers Representative Course (ABR Designation) 

This is a NAR Designation Course designed to evaluate, organize and upgrade your real estate business.  This Designation Course is for both the new agents or the seasoned professionals.  This is a 2-Day course and will include training on the important Buyer's Representation Agreement. As agents put their sellers under contract they should also put their buyers under contract.  This class will show you how.  The first year of the ABR Designation membership fee is included in the cost of the course.   This training is the core component to qualify for the NAR ABR Designation and there is a final exam at the end of class.

Military Relocation Professional (MRP Certification)

This is NAR training covers working with active duty military and veterans using VA financing. This is a 1-Day course.

Helping our active duty and veteran military families is an important role for many Realtors.  Our military families need specialized help with their real estate needs.  There is significant opportunity to increase your real estate business serving our military and veteran demographic. 

In this training you will learn the processes and procedures in military relocation, the use of demographics of the military and veteran market to formulate business strategies and determine real estate service offerings, and explain the basics of VA financing, and time frames and documentation of eligibility.

 NAR offers the Military Certification training for Realtors who want to devote some of their business helping military families buy and sell.  This certification will set you and your real estate business apart from the rest, and make you a part of the bigger picture of service to our country!

Pricing Strategies Advisor Training (PSA Certification)

This is a NAR Certification Course designed to upgrade the real estate professional's skills in Property Valuation and Comp Adjustments. This is a 1-day course and contains an in-class practice exercise working with Comps and Comp Adjustments. Preparing a substantive and accurate Property Valuation Report will enhance any estate businesses. This training is the core component to qualify you for the NAR PSA Certification and there is no final exam at the end of class.

Forbearances, Short Sales and Foreclosure Training (SFR Certification) 

This is NAR training covers the Distress Real Estate Market.  Preparation is key!  This is a 1-Day course.

Realtors need to prepare for a different real estate market as this current crisis continues.  New processes and forms have already been sent out to manage Realtor's daily work in the new normal. Many of our clients may need help with the complexities of the different mortgage preservation processes. 

In this training you will learn how to help your clients maneuver the complexities of  preventing foreclosure.  This course is specifically designed to show how the real estate professional can serve as a resource to sellers and buyers of distressed properties.  Real estate professionals play an invaluable role in helping homeowners and home buyers navigate these transactions. 

As a result, real estate professionals can help contribute to the real estate recovery, be an engaging and helpful part of your community and, and when necessary, handle the sale or short sale transaction.

Real Estate Investing:  Building wealth representing investors and becoming an investor yourself:

This course covers the fundamentals of real estate investment that Realtors need to know to expand their business services.  The one-day course looks at how Realtors can adapt core real estate skills and learn new skills to serve clients who want to invest in single-family homes, condos, town homes, and small multi-family properties.  You will learn how to work with investors as they goal set, plan, and evaluate, and acquire properties, as well as, mange them.  you will also learn now to "walk the talk," and become a real estate investor!

Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES Designation)

As real estate professionals we can be a tremendous help to our senior community who are not aware of the many options to their real estate needs.  In this time of uncertainty, it is even more important to provide much needed help and guidance to our Senior communities so they are empowered when making important real estate decisions. 

This training will provide you with the tools to work with the Senior demographic, about their specific needs as they age, options that will fit those needs, and how to engage with this group in our impending new real estate market.

It has been said that the wealth of America is held in the hands of our Seniors.  As our nation ages many Seniors will need  specialized real estate services to help them make the changes necessary to maintain a quality of life in their housing needs. This training will take you through this transition and teach you the options necessary to help this special and large demographic.  

In completing this training you will be better prepared to serve this huge demographic of potential clientele.  Many of our Senior clients require 2-3 transactions. 

Additionally, this training is also important to younger generations as they age toward retirement.  The better your clients are prepared for retirement, the better their retirement experience will be!
